SALVETE! Happy NLE Week!  We are taking the Advanced Latin Poetry Exam on Friday!
Bottom line: this is a great break from the norm and great review!  If you want to win an award, do what I tell you to do in class - that's it!  If you want to ensure you earn a gold medal, and you want a Perfect Paper, then I've got a TON of extra resources (see below!).

2016 NLE: Award Distribution: GOLD = 34-40, SILVER = 30-33, Magna cum laude = 28-29, cum laude = 26-27
2017 NLE: Award Distribution: GOLD = 34-40, SILVER = 31-33, Magna cum laude = 29-30, cum laude = 27-28
Extra Resources:
(1) Use the very helpful NLE Practice App: https://quiz.nle.org/ - be sure to select "Advanced Latin Poetry" and I would focus on a particular skill ("Language" or "Latin in use" or "Culture and Civilization") instead of the "Default Mix." You can also pick the number of questions, and I suggest choosing 20 (the max).
(2) On Buzz, you will find an "NLE Review" folder. Inside are the 1999-2011 NLEs as well as a few other quizzes targeting some traditionally difficult concepts. Take any and all of them. They are all optional. I have put due dates on them only so that they are easier to find.
