start up: questionnaire (do not put your name on it)
when finished with questionnaire, turn into Colosseum and pick up worksheet
complete worksheet and turn into Colosseum (no grade involved)
review sheet - discuss last test results
homework: Stage 15 flashcards (Ex. B derivatives)

Wednesday
start up: scribite duas sententias de populis in picturis
verba utilia (on board): sceptrum = quod rex tenet, corona = quam regina gerit, patera = in quA est vinum, agnus = animal est; quod balat, balo/balare = quod agnus agit, ara = in quA sacerdos sacrificium facit, sacerdos = pius homo est
use LCD to project powerpoint of pictures and cycle through them - encourage students to use verba utilia as much as possible
after they write two sentences for each, go through pictures and turn into one sentence with relative clause (no production at this point, just have them repeat).
revisit definitions of the words to consolidate the meanings
pass out "ad aulam" sheet with the via drawn on it, they must read the story and draw what they read on the picture - included on picture are the various parts of the agmen - label each part in Latin
homework:

Thursday
start up: finish ad aulam picture
elicit description of agmen in Latin from students and draw on board
discuss what each group is doing and work in as many relative clauses into feedback as possible (goal is not production here, but recognition of the complex sentences I give)
when done, refer to the story and continue with Varica - quis est? ubi est? cui Varica dicit? Cur? Quid Salvius dicit? Cur? Quid Varica agit?
work way through end of story
with any time left, discuss NLTRW, etc.
