Monday
Today's class will be both SYNCHRONOUS and ASYNCHRONOUS!
(1) We will read the story Dignitas (the dialogue portion in lines 14-end).
 a. those at home will complete this Pear Deck (joinpd.com with code: zaeemi)
 b. those in-person will read and translate together with Mr. Yaggy
(2) We will assess your understanding of the present and imperfect passive verbs with this Buzz quiz over Practicing the language 1.


Tuesday
SALVETE! Today's class will be (mostly) ASYNCHRONOUS!
(1) Mason K., Tyler, Max, Kimblery, and Toshi: answer the comprehension questions on p. 171 about the story dignitas. See attached and turn in here on Teams when done.
(2) Read over and complete the examples for Practicing the language 2 (perfect passive participles).
(3) Assess your knowledge with the Buzz quiz over Practicing the language 2 (perfect passive participles).
(4) Watch this brief tutorial on the perfect passive tense.
(5) Read over and complete the examples for About the language 1: perfect passive tense.
(6) Assess your knowledge with the Buzz quiz over About the language 1: perfect passive tense.
(7) Take this Gimkit over the vocabulary of our next story, polyspaston 1.


Wednesday
SALVETE! Today's class will be (mostly) ASYNCHRONOUS!
(1)
 Take this Gimkit over polyspaston 1 (same as yesterday; I'd like you to take it one more time at least).
(2) Read the story polyspaston 1 and answer the comprehension questions on Buzz.
(3) Practice the passive voice with the attached "Practicing the Passive" worksheet.  Upload to Teams when done.



Thursday

(1)
 Review your answers to the "Practicing the Passive" worksheet (returned to you on teams), and figure out what you missed and why.
(2) Show me what you've learned by taking the "Practicing the Passive" Buzz quiz
(3) Take this Gimkit over polyspaston 1 (same as yesterday; I'd like you to take it one more time at least).
(4) Read the story polyspaston 2 and answer the comprehension questions on Buzz.

(1) Click on this Pear Deck link (joinpd.com with code qdtdjt) and respond to the directions on the first slide.  This is "instructor-paced," so wait for Mr. Yaggy to continue the presentation.  We will be learning a bit more about Haterius and consolidating what we've learned in the polyspaston stories.
(2) Read About the language 2: pluperfect passive tense on p. 175 and complete the examples.
(3) Take the Buzz quiz over About the language 2: pluperfect passive tense
